1. Preview

The Preview section displays the results from the OCR screen capture. This is where the user can see the image that has been captured and is ready for text recognition.

This menu allows for direct manipulation of pre-processing settings, which are crucial for enhancing the accuracy of text recognition in the image. These settings include:

  • Image Upscaler: Improves the resolution of the captured image, making text clearer and more recognizable.

  • Image Filter: Consists of specialized filters for different text types - black text, white text, and colored text. These filters are designed to selectively enhance the visibility of text based on its color, optimizing the image for the OCR process.

  • Image Adjustments: Enables users to adjust various image parameters like brightness, contrast, etc., to further refine the image for better text detection.

2. Display Capture Sources

This feature shows the current display of the monitor along with the coordinates of the screen capture area. It's particularly useful for precision in capturing specific areas of the screen, especially in complex or multi-monitor setups.

3. Hotkeys

The Hotkeys menu allows users to customize the keyboard shortcuts for various functions of the OCR application. This customization enhances workflow efficiency by enabling quick and easy access to frequent actions, such as initiating a screen capture or activating specific features.
