UI Overview

1. Capture Area

The Capture Area is used to select and capture a specific part of the screen. This captured area is then processed using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to extract text.

How to Use: To capture screen content, move and resize the Capture Area window to cover the part of the screen that contains the text you want to recognize.

2. Side Toolbar

The Side Toolbar provides several tools to support and enhance the Capture Area and OCR process:

  • Capture Manually captures the selected capture area.

  • Auto Capture Automatically capture.

  • Pre-processing Offers image enhancement options before OCR processing. Pre-processing improves image quality, which can significantly increase OCR accuracy.

  • OCR Engine Allows you to choose which OCR engine to use for text recognition.

  • Capture Area (Mouse Click-Through) Toggles mouse click-through for the Capture Area window [ON/OFF]. When enabled, mouse clicks will pass through the capture window to interact with underlying content.

  • Set Region Allows the user to define the Capture Area using a mouse-drawn region on the screen.

3. Status Bar

The Status Bar displays real-time information related to the OCR process, including:

  • Current display settings

  • Coordinates of the selected capture area

  • OCR processing status
